![]() Whenever I am working or not at home I constantly look forward to getting back to my PC so I can play D2R - just like I did back in the day with oldschool Blizzard titles. ![]() I am absolutely hooked, and I am having a blast. I bought the game at launch and let me tell you this is easily the most fun I've had playing a video game in the last decade. I looked up Vicarious Visions and thought these guys look like they know what they're doing, so I'm going to give D2R a shot in September. When Diablo 2 Resurrected was announced I was skeptical they would butcher Diablo 2's legacy just like they did with Reforged and Warcraft 3. I looked up Diablo 2 videos and foolishly jumped into the conclusion that the game looked too dated for my liking at the time. However I do recall reading comments claiming Diablo 2 was pretty much the king of ARPGs, how it still had an active community, and how everyone that played it held it so dearly. I thought to myself maybe ARGPs aren't for me. I tried D3 afterwards and I quickly lost interest in that as well. Naturally I tried Path of Exile, and I stopped playing within an hour. A few years ago post the shutdown of "Nostalrius" (a massive WoW Vanilla Private Server), I thought I would give ARPGs a shot. Over the years WoW turned into garbage, so I resorted to WoW Private Servers. I never bothered trying out Diablo 1 or 2 afterwards. When World of Warcraft first came out I got absolutely sucked in. I spent countless hours on my 4:3 CRT mainly playing Starcraft 1 Brood War and Warcraft 1-3. Growing up I played every classic Blizzard title except Diablo.
